Weeks 20 & 21
I am finally over my cold. It took awhile, and I still have allergies but the cold part is done. Baby is moving a lot more now and Gene can easily feel kicks and movements. Baby has clearly found my bladder and likes to hit it like a drum or punching bag. Very fun when you have to go pee!
My belly button is gone and is starting to turn into an outie!
I have started to snore, which I end waking myself up so sleeping is a bit of a challenge. I might have to try those breathe right strips, not very attractive tho. I also need to get a body pillow to see if that helps the comfort level.
Moving around on the bed or getting up from the couch is becoming more of a challenge. Sometimes Gene has to give me a push.
I no longer have ankles, I have cankles...where your calf and ankle run together. The good thing is there is no swelling in my hands or face. The odd thing is my right foot is worse than my left.
Still overall pregnancy is going very well, I am loving every minute!! I can't wait to meet this little guy.
Oh- we did our big ultrasound last week. Baby is growing very well. All organs and bones are good. He does have long arms and legs but comes by that honestly from Daddy. He is measuring a week and a half further than I am pg, but not to be alarmed. He could have had a growth spurt.
I bought a new maternity skirt the other day. Went to wear it and realized you could see what color undies I had on, even though it was a black skirt and darker undies but w/ poka-dots. So I am going to look for a really long tunic to wear with it since I can't take it back. So I ran to Kohls at lunch the other day only to find out they no longer have a maternity section in the stores, it's on-line only. Boo!
Well, I should get ready for bed. Have a great rest of the week.
