Boy time sure does fly by. Baby is now six weeks old and growing so fast. I don't get much free time to do much other than chores or nap. I'm pumping breast milk right now while he sleeps.
Overall things are going well. We have good days and bad days. Baby is fussy in the evenings but that is getting better. We find wrapping him up (swaddling) really helps calm him. Some nights we get more sleep than others. Last night was a bit tough but this morning we stayed in bed until 8:30 for more sleep after a bottle about 6. That helped both me & baby be in better moods.
Baby is doing great with his head control. He loves to sit up (with help) and watch things. He likes to bounce on your knees. Diaper changes are going better, he rarely cries during them now. Changing clothes can still cause tears, it's easier when both Mom & Dad are changing him than just one of us.
I am not looking forward to going back to work. I will miss being with him everyday. At least his daycare has a webcam I can peek in on him, or stop by for lunch.
