16 weeks....
First let me tell you about 15 weeks. I had a new symptom last Saturday....bloody nose. I was in the bathroom and was going to wash my hands and I felt something warm on my upper lip. When I looked in the mirror it was blood. I spent the next 20 or 30 min trying to get it to stop. What finally worked was putting an ice pack on my face while pinching my nose. We also learned Gene has never done a pony tail before. I needed my hair back out of my face. His first attempt wasn't bad, it got the job done. I told him good thing we are having a boy first. 😄
I do thin I felt the baby early last week. It was a flutter type feeling, but haven't been able,to repeat it.
Week 16
I can feel the baby at times when I am relaxing in bed. Three times now I've felt a round ball pushing in one spot. Gene was able to feel one this morning. It's like the baby is pushing his head or bum up against my uterus. I also felt him turn or somersault as he did it right against my uterus, very weird feeling. Most of the time I think he hangs out in the middle floating around.
I do sometimes in the morning feel a bit of swooshing like a washing machine going on in there. It's not a I'm going to be sick type swooshing. So things should start to get interesting.
I am craving salt like you would not believe. I am not a big salt craver so it's odd. I still want chocolate but I want salt more. Friday at work I could have used a salt lick. 😛
I started an afghan for the baby today, the color is little boy blue. Variegated yarn; blue, white, tan and a smidge of yellow.
We did pick up a dresser changing table combo yesterday at Costco. We did have to drive to one about 45 min away. We got the display model for $70 less and we don't have to put it together .
Not much else going on. I was going to do the baby registry yesterday but ran out of time. I'll have to work on that soon.
